About InstallerDocs

Compliance paperwork? Sorted.

InstallerDocs is compliance documentation software built for UK fire and security installers. It replaces the mix of paper certificates, Word templates, spreadsheets and photo folders that most installation teams still juggle. Engineers survey a job, fill in the right documents on their phone or laptop, and InstallerDocs carries the details across every form the job needs — site survey, design proposal, commissioning sheets, certificates and handover packs.

It supports systems installation teams with every day: intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and fire alarms paperwork. Documents are generated as branded, registration-ready PDFs that carry the company's identity, not the software's. Once a document is issued it is locked: revisions, signatures and every change are recorded in a full audit trail, so when an assessor, insurer or accreditation body asks for evidence, the history is already there.

InstallerDocs is for anyone who installs or maintains security and fire systems — sole traders who want to stop filling in paperwork twice, growing installation teams that need job and document tracking in one place, and multi-engineer companies running pre-planned certification schemes. Office staff see the same jobs and documents as the engineers on site, with statuses that make it obvious what is drafted, issued or awaiting signature.

The product is built by InstallerDocs, a UK company focused on one thing: making compliance documentation faster for field teams while keeping it audit-ready. We work directly with installers and certification bodies to keep the document library aligned with what assessors actually ask for, and new templates for additional fire and security disciplines are added continuously.
